We Did It!!!
My goodness Quest Festers – 3 years, 1 pandemic, 1 Brexit, multiple lineup changes and t-shirt supply issues, but we finally did it and it was amazing!
This has been by far the hardest, most stressful year to organise, at times it felt like everything was against us as a festival. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t multiple times over the past few months where I have said “I’m never doing this again”.
HOWEVER – when we open the doors to you all, the stress and chaos is left behind and replaced with the biggest grins we can manage.
Without you supporting us, there is no way we can keep doing what we do, so a huge thanks first and foremost goes out to every single one of you who bought a ticket, helped share our posts and get the word out, propped up the bar for the day and of course, supported our awesome artists by buying their merchandise and cheering them on.
Of course none of this would have been possible without my wonderful crew. It’s impossible to name every single person in one post. From our merch and box office staff, green room assistants, official photographers and to everyone backstage and our incredible stage crew, without them none of this could have been possible.
To the bands that played this year – mindblowing performances from the first to the last.
Quest Fest will be back next year on Saturday 30th September 2023 at The Asylum in Birmingham.
Early bird tickets will be released with our first official announcement at the end of October after a little rest and recovery.
Until then, I hope you had the best time (I certainly did) and I need a few days to soak it all up and get my head around next year’s preparations.
Love to you all
Amie
